London one more time

After a slight security hiccup and having to empty our bags to the guards to show them our chocolate swiss army knives we finally boarded the Eurostar back to London.

We had left the last one and half days in London open to relax, see a few things we had missed the first two times and also visit Ruslip to see where Jess's dad had grown up.

We started out back finally making our way over to Buckingham Palace to watch the changing of the guards.  There was already a sizable crowd present so we could not get a good vantage point to watch the actual ceremony but did get some close ups of the old and new guards entering the palace gates.

Leaving before the whole ceremony was complete we got back on the underground and made our way out to Ruslip.  Navigating our way through various streets, which we discovered later that we could have gone straight down the main street, we arrived at 74 Bempton Drive. We took a few photos and made our way back to the main street for some lunch at the local Bakery.

After Ruslip we made our way back to London for a spot of shopping (including a visit to Harrods again) before finishing up in a pub watching the first euro semi final between Spain and Portugal.  On the way to the pub we passed a van with one of our names on it.

We awoke on our final day of our trip, finished packing our bags and headed out for one last day of adventure. We had seen some adverts for the London Dundegeon and having done the London Bridge Experience we were keen for another walk through of screams and laughs.  Lucky for us we got to tag onto the end of a group of 10 year old school children who were scared witless.

We had one last stop for the day and that was a visit to Madame Tussaudes to mix it with the rich and famous, grabbing a few behinds along the way!

Our trip had now come to an end, we made our way to Heathrow, had one last meal, got back on a plane and headed home.
